Project Overview
Location: Glen Innes, NSW
Category: Multisport Court
Completed: November 2024
After a competitive quoting process, Synthetic Sports Group was awarded the project and delivered a complete turnkey solution, from site preparation through to surfacing, fencing and sports equipment installation.
Construction & Surface Finish
The project began with the excavation of approximately 150mm of material to prepare the site. A high-quality concrete slab was then poured to create a strong foundation for the new court.
The court was finished with a durable Laykold acrylic surface, including two layers of Laykold Advantage top coat in colours customised to the school’s preferences.
A Flexible Court for Multiple Sports
The court was line marked to accommodate basketball, netball and four pickleball courts. A Playhard reversible basketball and netball tower with a 1.2m extension was installed for shared use, along with portable pickleball nets for flexible setup and storage.
To complete the facility, 3m-high black powder-coated wire mesh fencing was installed around the perimeter for safety and security.
The Result
The finished multisport court provides St Joseph’s Primary School with a bright, functional and long-lasting sports facility for students to enjoy for years to come.
