Greta Workers Club Bowling Green Conversion

Synthetic Sports Group completed the full design, construction and conversion of an existing natural grass bowling green at Greta Workers Club. Completed in March 2025, the project delivered the first Synthetic Sports Group GreenMaster Platinum Gold surface on the East Coast.

The project involved transforming the existing natural turf green into a high-performance synthetic bowling surface designed for year-round play, consistent roll and reduced maintenance. From initial site assessment through to final installation, the works were carefully planned to deliver long-term durability and premium playing characteristics.

A fully integrated drainage system was designed specifically for the site conditions. With the unique land profile and increasing intensity of weather events, sub-surface drainage was critical to protecting the structural base, managing water efficiently and maintaining surface quality over time.
