This project involved the conversion of a tired, natural grass bowling green to our World Bowls Approved, Australian Made GreenMaster Pro Synthetic Bowling Green.
We excavated and removed approximately 150-200mm of turf and topsoil which was reused at the local golf course. We also installed a new sub-surface drainage system, which will result in a bowling green with significantly more ‘play time’ each year.
We then installed our engineered, free draining, bonded aggregate base course. Final trim with course river sand which is laser levelled and hand screeded to meet world bowls flatness tolerance of +\- 3mm.
We then laid the GreenMaster Pro Synthetic Surface to the bowling green and synthetic grass to the ditch surrounds. Finally we meticulously groomed in some sand infill and the bowling green is ready for play.
