This project featured the latest in technology for Cushioned Acrylic Tennis Courts: Laykold Masters Gel made by APT Asia Pacific.
The Laykold Masters Gel is a top choice for home based Tennis Courts. The all-weather court surface offers a wide variety of benefits to all ages and ability. Importantly Laykold Masters Gel provides 17%+ force reduction which helps to reduce joint impact and fatigue.
Our scope was to pressure clean the existing concrete slab and allow it to dry before applying 2 coats of Polyurethane primer. We then applied the 3-4mm self levelling 2-part polyurethane cushion layer which has a force reduction of approximately 17% and energy return. We then apply the 1.5mm wear layer followed by a bonding coat and filler coat. We now apply two coats of the Internationally recognised Laykold Masters top coats and Linemarking for tennis.
